Several years ago, the Lord started giving me poems. Why? I don’t know. As I have stated, I am not highly educated, as the world sees education. And I had never cared for poetry. My mother loved it, and as a kid, she would attempt to read some to me. It just didn’t impress me. So, when these ‘words’ started running around in my mind, I didn’t know what to expect.

At first, I tried to act as if it were not happening. When that didn’t work, I tried to run from the words. That didn’t work either! I finally realized that this strange thing happening to me was from God. So, I started writing the words down. Most of the poems come in the middle of the night. I get up, and write what He has so graciously given to me.

I do not consider myself a poet. I simply am God’s servant, the human author of His poems! I hope they touch you as they have touched many through the years.

Many of the poems will have Scripture verses below them.These verses simply back up the poem Biblically.
