CREATION
CREATION’S
CREATOR
God stretch’d
out the north, o’er the empty place,
He hung the Earth on nothing, in space.
The glory of God, do the heavens declare,
The skies show His handiwork, with great flare.
Let us remember, His
great works He has made,
From the highest mountain, to the marshy glade.
The sea is His work, and the dry land too,
He laid the Earth’s foundation, with wisdom true.
Springs run from the
hills, to valleys below,
Giving drink to all the beasts, as fountains flow.
He waters the hills, from His chambers above,
The Earth is grateful, for His gracious love.
Our Creator God, ne’er
grows weary,
Not like mere humans, like you and me.
His mighty hand, laid the foundation of Earth,
He lets us rule His Creation, of such great worth.
His many works, He
made in wisdom and pow’r,
His enemies one day, shall shudder and cow’r.
He has made two places for souls to abide,
Heav’n or Hell; our choice, where we shall reside.

GOD’S
CREATION
Where were we, when
God created the world?
Where were we, when the Earth was unfurled?
Of its measurements, which of us know?
Or how deep is its foundation, below?
Where were we, when
He made the stars above?
Where were we, when the angels sang out in love?
Where were we, when He shut the doors of the sea?
Where were we, when He made its boundaries?
Can we command, the
morning to arrive?
Will our wisdom or power, help us survive?
Can we enter into, the ocean’s springs?
Or walk its depth, to know where it begins?
Have the gates of
death, been open’d to you?
Does the shadow of death, give you a clue?
Can you perceive the Earth, O so v’ry wide?
Ev’n tho’ on its surface, you do reside.
Just where does the
light dwell, or the darkness?
Where is the place, can you dare confess?
Have you enter’d into the snow’s treasure?
Or the hail, that He sends at His pleasure?
Just how does God
part the dark and the light?
Why does He send the wind, in day or night?
How does He decide the route of thunder?
Is it His wisdom? or is it blunder?
Does rain have a father?
who begets the dew?
What about the ice? and the hoary frost too?
Where were we, when the laws of heaven were set?
With God in charge of all, we need never fret.

Job 38
GOD’S
WONDROUS CREATION
As the geese fly in
their ‘V’ formation,
I think: “How wondrous is God’s Creation.”
God seems to give them a ‘built-in’ clock,
When the time is right; off flies the flock.
The bears seem to
know when to hibernate,
They spend cold winters in a sleeping state.
God’s Creation truly is awesome indeed,
All His wild animals, to Him pay heed.
All vegetation knows
when spring is nigh,
Trees bud; daffodils reach for the sky.
Tender green grass bursts from its dormant state,
Mankind these things, could never duplicate.
God grants us each
day, the sun as a light,
And the moon, the lesser one, glows at night.
And a wonder too, this God of Creation,
Gave us a Way, for eternal salvation!

I Can’t
Comprehend
Our finite minds cannot
comprehend,
How You have no beginning, or no end.
You are the Triune God of eternity,
We cannot understand, this mystery.
I can’t comprehend,
how all things You know,
You watch the world, Your eyes go to and fro.
Before a thing begins, You know the end,
Yet on Your awesomeness, we can depend.
I can’t comprehend,
Your Almighty pow’r,
‘Tis abundantly with You ev’ry hour.
Nothing is impossible for You,
Yet Your love stays, ever firm and true.
I can’t comprehend,
Your wisdom so great,
That most in the world, underestimate.
Far beyond us, is finding out Your ways,
Yet You stoop to assist us, ev’ry day.
Your majestic Presence,
I can’t comprehend,
And the fact that You call, true Christians “Friend.”
A mystery, that in me God abides,
And that “forever” there He’ll reside.
That this awesome
God, e’vn considers me,
Is truly to me, a great mystery.
Our God’s character, I can’t comprehend,
But I’m eternally grateful, I’m His friend.
