TROUBLES

STORM CLOUDS

As I watch the storm clouds roll away,
I know Christ looks after me ev’ry day.
It seems clouds are His Promise to me,
All storms of life, with His help, flee.

Great storms of life, at times will arise,
So when they come, there should be no surprise.
Always remember, Christ will be there,
Burdens of life, He will gladly share.

When storm clouds roll away, the sun does shine,
Too our troubles flee, with His Light divine.
As the Earth is refresh’d, after a rain,
When Christ helps with our storm, peace we regain.

A close fellowship with Christ we need,
A life of obedience, we should lead.
When we love Jesus with our v’ry all,
He’s always near when we slip or fall.

Our Lord will be with us to the end,
When we love and obey, He is our Friend.
Then in all storms of life, He’s close by,
As our Assistant, He does qualify.

Troubles

Sometimes troubles come from all directions,
That’s when we should recall, God’s perfection!
He’ll never give us more that we can bear,
He’ll bless with comfort, because He cares.

We all will have troubles, that come our way,
But to His children, great love God displays.
Sufficient grace He gives, abundantly,
With Christ on our side, we’ll have victory.

Tho’ the Lord our troubles, won’t take away,
He will walk with us thru’ them, all the way.
He will encourage us, if we walk with Him,
Things will look brighter, as troubles grow dim.

Did you e’er think, Christ may be testing you?
Run from Him? or to Him? what will you do?
Satan will all your weaknesses explore,
Don’t let the devil get his foot in the door.

No matter what happens, Christ will be there,
He truly does love us, truly does care.
His awesome Presence, is always so near,
He’ll not leave or forsake us, have no fear.

Did you thank Him today, for standing by you?
Do you appreciate His love so true?
What does He mean to you? tell Him this day,
Thank Him for all blessings He brings your way.

TROUBLES AND TRIALS

When troubles that besiege, come into play,
Dear Lord, give me strength, to accept Your way.
When I feel as if, flood waters o’er flow,
Your encouraging love, I want to know.

You do allow trials, to come to me,
The choice I make, is what You want to see.
When troubles come, there’s a choice to make,
I can run fast to You, or You forsake.

We all have a free will, that You did give,
We all use this gift, as our life we live.
But so many times, I choose the wrong path,
And my error at times, can bring on Your wrath.

When You allow pain, to You I must run,
It’s a bad decision, when You I shun.
You ne’er promise, to take all pain away,
But feeling Your Presence, can make my day.

Pain and suffering, and troubles of all kind,
But thru’ these all, I can have peace of mind.
Sufficient Lord, is Your amazing grace,
It sees me thru’ all, as I run my race.

Lord, You do NOT ev’ry malady heal,
It matters not, when Your Presence I feel.
Your strength is made perfect, when I am weak,
The pow’r of Christ, is what I should seek.

I should take pleasure in infirmities,
For this must be for me, a necessity.
You make me strong Lord, when I am weak,
Give me wisdom, Your gracious pow’r to seek.

WORRY

Worry won’t make problems go away,
It just brings stress to burden your day.
Worry puts nagging doubts in your mind,
Peace you long for is then hard to find.

We are told “Be anxious for nothing,”
To obey these words, brings a blessing.
We should always trust in His Holy Name,
Doubting Christ, will always bring shame.

We should place our worries in Christ’s Hands,
And on His Promises, firmly stand.
He promises all our burdens to share,
This wondrous Saviour, who truly cares.

Worry leads to stress, stress leads to doubt,
Ask Jesus to cast the devil out.
Worry can clearly consume your thoughts,
You don’t want in this trap to be caught.

Worry reduces your faith and trust,
These to our Lord, is simply a must.
Worry will never do any good,
‘Tis something that should be understood.

Those who depend on God, He won’t neglect,
His e’er watchful eye will always protect.
One day at a time, for He will aid,
We need not worry or be afraid.

TROUBLES WILL COME

Over and over, troubles arise,
The secret to this, is look to the skies.
Our help cometh each time from the Lord,
There is great comfort, from His Holy Word.

Satan is all smiles, when you worry,
Submit to God, and the devil will flee.
Temptations come, the Lord does permit,
But strength to endure, comes from His Spirit.

As an angel of light, Satan appears,
But the Holy Spirit is always near.
Over and over, He comes to our aid,
His Presence abides, so don’t be afraid.

Much greater is He who is in you,
Than the world’s devil, so untrue.
When we trust the Spirit, and don’t quench His pow’r,
He’ll help in a heart-beat, at any hour.

With each temptation, trouble and woe,
Great comfort and strength, o’er comes our sorrow.
Fellowship with Christ must be secure,
If troubles in life, we are to endure.

When into your life, doubt starts to creep,
Be sure that Jesus, will safely keep.
Doubt will always eat your faith away,
Don’t give in to Satan, on any day.

Between you and Christ, Satan tries to step in,
Gently he will urge you, into sin.
Take hold of His Hand, as Christ you follow,
He truly will help you, in your sorrow.

GOD KNOWS

Discouragement comes after fruitless tries,
God knows your problem, and He hears your cries.
Into His bottle, He puts your many tears,
God knows your troubles, your worries and fears.

When you feel as if, life has passed you by,
God knows and cares, on Him you can rely.
No matter what you think, life is ne’er on hold,
God is in control, His answers will unfold.

When you do something, that you shouldn’t do,
God knows, for He is always watching you.
Cast out hatred, gossip, lies and blasphemy,
And disobedience and idolatry.

All evil must be far from you and me,
We must overcome, to have victory.
God knows when you’re tempted, He’ll see you thru’,
He’ll speed strength and wisdom, quickly to you.

God knows His children, sees deep in their heart,
Tho’ you may backslide, He’ll never depart.
With His true children, He will reside always,
Thru’ this life, and all eternity’s days.

If your name is written in the Book of Life,
Heav’n shall be yours, as the Lamb’s perfect wife.
God knows and loves you, and to His Home you’ll go,
And a “mansion” up there, He shall bestow!

It Could Have Been Worse

It could have been worse, you must consider,
As o’er your circumstance, you do ponder.
God may test us, with great severity,
To see where we’ll stand, both you and me.

When painful troubles, on us does arrive,
Our faith must be strong, or we’ll not survive.
The closeness of Jesus, is O’ so near,
When we stand firm with Him, we need not fear.

“It could have been worse; I cannot see how,”
These words you speak, as you wipe sweat from your brow.
But there’s been someone before, who’s felt your woe,
Consider this, as thru’ each day you go.

Worry and depression, these do you feel?
And agonizing pain, so very real?
Confusion in your mind, as you ask “Why?”
Many tears flow, as you continue to cry.

There’s someone worse off, if you’d look around,
Troubles to many people, do abound.
Our faith must be steadfast, we must trust the Lord,
Let’s always stay close to Him and His Word.

We know not what another person feels,
When they go thru’ their trouble, as they heal.
We must remember as we go thru’ each day,
When Christ is your Friend, He’s there all the way.

Lessons From Life

What have I learned, in my life on Earth?
My wisdom and strength, are of no worth.
I must be humble, I must be meek,
If the Lord’s guidance, I truly seek.

I must ne’er think, “I’ll do it on my own,”
If I e’er want, God’s will to be shown.
I must have faith, and trust Him each day,
And I must love Him, and Him obey.

The Lord many troubles, will permit,
But He’ll always help, by His Spirit.
His Promise “I will not leave or forsake,”
But a commitment to Him, first we must make.

Tho’ temptation and trials, oft are great,
Vast comfort from Him, won’t e’er be late.
His loving Presence, is e’er so near,
We must have faith, not worry or fear.

At times His will, we can’t comprehend,
But if we love and obey, He’s our Friend.
Lessons from life can sometimes be hard,
But from His Throne of grace, we’re ne’er barr’d.

If we are God’s child, and love Him true,
He will always be there, for me and you.
We must be humble, we must be meek,
If the Lord’s guidance, we truly seek.

Such a great comfort, to know He’s there,
So encouraging, to Know He cares.
No matter our trouble, no matter our pain,
Christ’s love, strength, wisdom and help, we can gain.

Lord, Here I Am Again

Lord, here I am again, thanking Thee,
For all the great things, You do for me.
My amazement of You, ne’er does cease,
Friendship with You, is absolute peace.

From a deep well, that will ne’er run dry,
Comes endless love, on which I rely.
Abundant blessings, from You do flow,
Blessings always, when to You I go.

Sufficient is our precious Lord’s grace,
Available as we run our race.
His abounding grace is all we need,
When we as His children, His Word heed.

Compassion and mercy, on us He sheds,
When we reverence Him, there is no dread.
On all His children, God has pity,
Abundant compassion, for you and me.

When God forgives us, it is complete,
As far as the west is, from the east.
He forgives all our iniquities,
He casts them into the deepest sea.

Lord, here I am again, thanking Thee,
For all the blessings, You bestow on me.
Amazingly awesome, that is You,
Lord I praise You, for all that You do.
