Prophecy

Prophecy Being Fulfilled in our Time

Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? (KJV) Jesus told the disciples what to look for before He returned.

1. False prophets and false Christs.

Matthew 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. (KJV)
Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. (KJV) In recent years, many have claimed to be the Messiah. Jim Jones and David Koresh are just two examples of the many. These false ones are just a preview of what is to come.

Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. (KJV) BEWARE! is what our Lord is telling us!

2. Wars

Matthew 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (KJV) We constantly hear of wars or rumors of wars. They are worldwide, thanks to the news sources.

Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. (KJV) Hundred of thousands of people are killed in wars of some kind. Yet people continue making weapons of mass destruction. The threat of terrorists is everywhere.

And our Lord tells us: Matthew 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. (KJV) Can you even begin to imagine what else will transpire?

3. Famines.

Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. (KJV) White Christian farmers are being driven out of Africa in huge numbers. They are being replaced by people who raise poppies. 25% of the world’s drugs now come from Africa. This means not enough food to sustain the people. Famine is not limited to Africa. A large portion of the world’s 5 billion people are hungry. And worse, famines lead to pestilence (disease).

4. Earthquakes.

Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. (KJV) Earthquakes are occurring more and more frequently, and more and more intense in our time than any other time in history. All we have to do is turn on the news. The recent tsunami is an example.And too, think of all the volcanoes erupting all over the world.

Earthquake in Greek is "seismos" (sice-mos), meaning a commotion, (of the air) a gale, (of the ground) an earthquake. So according to this, it means earthquake or tempest. Consider all the recent hurricanes and cyclones. Do you believe Jesus?? Do you think that all the natural disasters are a sign of the end times?

5. Tribulations.

Matthew 24:8-10 All these are the beginning of sorrows. [9] Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. [10] And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. (KJV) From the time that the Jews rejected Christ, and He left their house desolate, the sword has never left them. Troubles of some sort plague them constantly. This is what comes from refusing the Gospel. Those who refuse to hear the messengers of peace, shall be forced to hear the messengers of war. When we look forward to the eternity of misery that is before the stubborn refusers of Christ and His Gospel (both Jews and Gentiles), it is clear to see that the greatest earthly judgments are just the beginning of sorrows. This Passage is not only for Jews. Christians are hated world wide! Even in the United States, we suffer ridicule, hatred and discrimination. But in countries like Africa, China, Korea, Russia, Sudan, Saudi Arabia and Muslim nations, Christians suffer much persecution and even death. The first 5 signs mentioned here, will greatly increase both in number and severity as the Great Tribulation grows nearer. True Christians are few and far between. After the Rapture takes place, some churches won’t even be missing a single member. Luke 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (KJV) True faith will have nearly died out by the time Jesus comes for us (1 Thes.4:13-17), and faith of Christ’s Coming will scarcely be found. His prediction of “few” rings so true! Yes! Prophecy is being fulfilled in our time. Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV)

6. The Gospel will be preached in all the World.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. (KJV) This has been fulfilled through TV, radio, missionaries and the internet. People all over the world are able to hear the true Gospel of Christ, but so sad, they are hearing so many false gospels too.

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (KJV) We ALL must do our share! No matter who you are, you can reach someone that I cannot! GO, TELL about Jesus!

Other Prophecies Being Fulfilled.

2 Tim. 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. (KJV) The perilous times go hand in hand with what Jesus states in Matthew 24. The last days began after Jesus’ resurrection when the Holy Spirit came upon the believers at Pentecost, and will continue until Christ’s Second Coming. We are living in the last days. We should take advantage of the time that God has given us (Eph. 5:16; Col. 4:5).

Godlessness.

2 Tim. 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (KJV)

Many of our leaders and corporate executives are corrupt. Cities are filled with crime, and getting worse by the day. Immorality in every form is being tolerated and accepted by people around the world. Fortune tellers and sorcerers are claiming to be able to tell the future. Many of the rich and famous celebrities flock to them.

People love only themselves and their money. They boast and with great pride, show off their riches and possessions; literally ridiculing God. Children and teens are disobedient to their parents, and some parents are actually afraid of their own children. Some are being killed by their children.

Luke 12:53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. (KJV) In these unsettling words, Jesus revealed that taking a stand for Him would often result in conflict. Some choose to follow Him, others refuse any part of Him. There is NO middle ground with Jesus. You CANNOT sit on the fence! You CANNOT be a "closet Christian." It is either Jesus OR the devil.

It is rare that you can find anyone who will thank you for something you do for them. They are not grateful for anything. People have less and less natural affection. How could anyone murder their own unborn child?? And natural affection is NOT homosexuality!

2 Tim. 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, (KJV) People lie and slander others, and have no self-control. They are cruel and hate anyone who is good. They betray their friends. When men have no rule over their own spirits, bad things happen.

2 Tim. 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; (KJV) The majority of people love pleasure much more than God. Look at the football stadiums. Not a vacant seat most of the time, even in freezing weather. Do they do anything like this for the Lord?? God is to be loved above all things and all people; but a carnal mind, full of enmity against Him, prefers any thing before Him, especially carnal pleasure.

2 Tim. 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (KJV) Some people act as if they are religious, claiming to be a "Christian." But it is all words, NOT heart. They reject the Power that could make them godly. Some people (men and women) will follow every new teaching, but they never understand the Truth. Stay away from people like that. A form of godliness is very different from the power. These are none other than hypocrites, who are condemned by Jesus in Matthew 23. True Christians have the power, and have Jesus in their hearts and lives. Hypocrites are found within the churches, in every place, and at all times. We must be ever learning to know the Lord, and seek the truth as it is in Jesus.

Apostasy, falling away from the faith.

1 Tim. 4:1-3 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; [3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. (KJV) Churches today are really falling for false teachers and their man made doctrines (Mat.15:9). We are repeatedly warned against them (Mark 13:21-23; Acts 20:28-31; 2 Thes. 2:1-12; 2 Peter 3:3-7). Just because someone seems to know what he/she is talking about, is disciplined and moral, or says that he/she is speaking for God, does not mean they are. If a teacher’s words contradict the Bible, the teaching is false, and they are a false teacher! Many people are being led astray by people like Rick Warren with his partial truth gospels and preaching what the people want to hear instead of what they should hear. And the blasphemous so called bible "The Message" is to me an outrage! How can anyone dare to change the Word of God? We are told NOT to mess with God's Word.

Deut. 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. (KJV)

Deut. 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it. (KJV)

Proverbs 30:6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. (KJV)

Rev. 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. (KJV)

Many churches embrace the New Age doctrines, denying that Christ is the ONLY Way to Heaven. Worship of mother earth, belief in past lives, reincarnation, devil worship, etc. are all dreadfully wrong according to God! And accepting homosexuality and live-ins as acceptable alternative lifestyles is wrong. My friend, homosexuality is a SIN! You shall be judged for it if you go that way. And living with someone without the benefit of marriage is a SIN, no matter your age of race. Many people today will not marry because they would lose benefits from pension or health policies from former mates. What this is saying to God is: I don’t trust You to take care of me. It is a SIN! You are departing from the faith! Your apostasy shall be judged!

Existence of a 200,000,000 man army.

Rev. 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. (KJV) The army of China reached this number in the 1960’s.

Revival of the Roman Empire.

Daniel 2:32-33 This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, [33] His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. (KJV)
Daniel 2:40-43 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. [41] And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. [42] And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. [43] And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. (KJV) The 4th kingdom of iron, according to Daniel is the Roman Empire. The nations of Europe since the Roman Empire fell, continue as separate nations. But . . . the EU (European Union) now exists and has 15 members, and is preparing for 13 more countries to join. This can’t be anything other than the revived Roman Empire that will be eventually headed by a man who John calls the Antichrist (1 John 2:18), who will head the one-world government in the Great Tribulation period.

Return of one pure Hebrew language in Israel.

Zeph. 3:9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent. (KJV) Before the restoration of Israel in 1948, the Hebrew language was dead. Now, Hebrew is spoken in all Israel.

Rebuilding the Temple in Jerusalem.

For several end time prophecies to be fulfilled, the Temple must be rebuilt.

Daniel 9:26-27 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. [27] And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (KJV)
Rev. 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. (KJV)

There are groups already working on the construction of the new Temple. Blueprints are done. Temple garments have been made. Attempts have been made to lay the cornerstone. Only one thing stands in the way. They are not certain where the original site is. Some say it is where the Dome of the Rock is (Islam’s 3rd holiest site). Others say it is 340 feet south of this. Red Heifer appears.

Numbers 19:2-7 This is the ordinance of the law which the Lord hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke: [3] And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face: [4] And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times: [5] And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn: [6] And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer. [7] Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even. (KJV) A red heifer will be needed to be used in the purification process. In May 1997 the first red heifer was born in 2000 years. Another red heifer was born in Israel in March 2002.

Increase in knowledge and travel.

Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and for, and knowledge shall be increased. (KJV) Someone has said that 90% of all engineers and scientists who ever lived, have lived in recent times. Air travel makes it possible to go anywhere in the world. We have seen the start of television, cell phones, internet, etc. At the turn of the century people were still depending on horses for travel. SO much we have seen just in the past 50 years.

Return of the Ethiopian Jews.

In 1984, Operation Moses air lifted 15,000 Jews who had left refugee camps in Sudan because of starvation. In 1991, Operation Solomon flew 20,000 Jews from Ethiopia to Israel. In 1999, 3,000 from the Quara Jewish community were taken from northeastern Ethiopia to Israel.

Rise of Russian power.

Ezekiel 38:2 Son of man, set thy face against Jog, the land of Maggot, the chief prince of Machete and Tubule, and prophesy against him, (KJV)

Ezekiel 38:4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thin army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armor, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: (KJV) Because Russia will be involved in end time prophecies, she will have to have a strong army.

Return of Russian Jews to Israel.

Jeremiah 23:7-8 Therefore, behold, the days come, satin the Lord, that they shall no more say, The Lord levity, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; [8] But, The Lord levity, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land. (KJV) In the 1970’s and 1980’s there was a mass exodus of Russian Jews out of Communist Russia.

Technology for the mark of the Beast.

Rev. 13:16-18 And he caught all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: [17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. [18] Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. (KJV) Tiny micro-chips have been placed in an animal’s shoulder as a form of identification. If a pet becomes lost, the chip reveals the owner. On May 10, 2005, three members of a Florida family were the first people to receive a biotic implant. A tiny device about the size of a grain of rice was injected under their skin. It is able to transmit a personal ID number when it is within a few feet of a special receiver. This ID can be used in security, emergency, healthcare, banking, etc.

Is this bio chip the mark that the Antichrist will use in the Great Tribulation? If so, we are not far from being raptured by our Lord (1 Thes.4:13-17). What is very important here is that people are being readied for this mark. Attitudes change day by day as to this system. Soon, people will be convinced that this method is the only way to provide information for security, bank and medical records. Fears about such a system will lessen with each passing day. People will be convinced they NEED this mark (chip or whatever it will be). When Antichrist becomes ruler of the world, there will be very few people who will refuse this mark.

ALL those who accept the mark of the beast show their allegiance to Satan, and their willingness to operate within the economic system he promotes. To accept this mark is absolute rebellion against God. To refuse the mark means a total commitment to God, preferring death to compromising one’s faith in Christ. All who accept this mark will be in line for the judgments God will send to Earth (Rev.16:2; 19:20).
Rev. 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. (KJV) ALL who accept the mark shall be sent to Hell!

Plans for a one world government.

The United Nations, World Trade Organization, International Criminal Court, UN peace keeping and police force, and other UN agencies are in the first steps to a one world government. Plans are for a one world money (euro). Already in place is communication technology, transportation, and around the world media needed by Antichrist to run the world (see Rev.13). The increasing terrorist threats and middle east conflicts will only speed up this government because people will want someone who can bring peace to the world (see Rev.6). Antichrist will come supposedly bringing peace. It will NOT last! Only Christ can bring peace to the world, NO one else! If you are not on the side of Christ, I beg you to turn to Him NOW!

Plans for a one world church.

After the Rapture, the only thing left will be the harlot church (Rev.17). It will tolerate everything except the Truth of God, the Gospel of Christ. This prostitute church will consist of every denomination on Earth. We are speeding to that one world church as I write. Even some so-called evangelistic preachers are speaking up for it. This church is very near! There are very few who stand up for Jesus. Most so-called Christians compromise with the world. A true church, one who believes and teaches the Truth, will not accept false doctrine. But with these new mega churches teaching a watered down Gospel out of a blasphemous so-called bible, this one world church is very near.

Instant Communication around the world.

Rev. 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. (KJV)
Rev. 11:7-10 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. [8] And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. [9] And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. [10] And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. (KJV) TV and the internet will make possible for people around the world to see the two witnesses lie dead in the street of Jerusalem. And also they will see the two witnesses who lay dead 3 1/2 days, come back to life.

Are you on the devil’s side? Or are you on God’s side? You MUST know Jesus as your personal Saviour and Lord if you want to be on God’s side! (1 John 3:10).

John 1:12-13 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: [13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (KJV)
1 John 5:10-12 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. [11] And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. [12] He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (KJV) JESUS is the Only Way! (John 14:6, Acts 4:12)

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. (KJV)
Mark 13:35-37 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: [36] Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. [37] And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. (KJV)
