Hypocrisy Runs Wild

Hypocrisy runs wild with those who teach and defend the damnable heresy (2 Pet.2:1) that a believer can lose their salvation. This soul destroying heresy is rampant in today's modern world, and it is TOTALLY in opposition to the Holy Word of Almighty God, our Saviour. To me, it is nothing less than blasphemy.

The Bible clearly teaches that once a sinner is born-again into the family of God (John 1:12-13; 3:3-8), they are there for ever! They are eternally secure (John 10:28). They can NEVER lose their salvation. This Bible TRUTH is often referred to as "Once Saved, Always saved" or OSAS.

We read in John 20:31 and 1 John 5:13 that we can KNOW that we are saved, KNOW that we have eternal life in Heaven. BUT . . . so many "professing" Christians DENY this Biblical Truth. They go against the Word of God and say that a believer can lose their salvation, and fall away from the amazing and abundant grace of God.

The Bible is clear . . . just as man CANNOT go back into his mother's womb and be physically reborn, NEITHER can a TRUE born again believer go back into an unregenerate spiritual state (John 3:1-8). Not one place, anywhere in the Bible, are there any words saying someone lost their salvation. King David lost the JOY of salvation; NOT salvation (Psalm 51:12).

Romans 10:3-4 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. (KJV)

Just because a person PROFESSES to be a "Christian," or PROFESSES to trust the Lord, or PROFESSES to make a "commitment" to the Lord . . . does NOT mean they are sincere. IF a person does not POSSESS Christ in their heart . . . and only God knows that Truth . . . they are a HYPOCRITE! (Matthew 23). Jesus pronounces '14' WOES on hypocrites there. Please do NOT be a hypocrite.

There are millions of Hell-bound souls who CLAIM to be born again and trust Christ. For instance, there are so many Catholics, who do not completely trust Christ, and Christ ALONE. They also trust Mary, their priests, baptism, religion, works, and their sacraments to save them. So a big question arises: "Can a person who refuses to believe in eternal security be saved? Or is it unbelief in the Bible?" Again, quoting Darien: "You either believe the Bible or you don't." SO TRUE!

What about Calvinists? Does their teaching of the "perseverance of the saints," pervert the doctrine of salvation? In my opinion, it is a heretical form of unbelief and works salvation. They claim that a Christian can lose their salvation if they don't remain faithful (do not sin). Jesus PAID our sin debt because we could NOT pay it. Our works did NOT gain our salvation and our works CANNOT keep our salvation.

Even if we did make an attempt to PERSEVERE, it would NEVER be enough to wash away the sins on our record. NO way! Only JESUS can do that! Jesus had to die for the sins of mankind. There was NO other way. We CANNOT do it!

Calvinists believe that a person who fails to "persevere to the end," have "fallen from grace." THAT IS A WORKS SALVATION! The Biblical meaning of the phrase "fallen from grace" is a reference to those who reject the Gospel, preferring religion (law) instead. These people have passed up the ONLY Way to Heaven, which is Jesus Christ, and JESUS ALONE! No TRUE Christian can ever fall from grace.

1 Peter 1:4-5 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (KJV)
John 10:27-29 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. (KJV)

The Great Hypocrisy!

Calvinists, Hyper-Calvinists and all others, who DENY the Eternal Security of the believer, oppose the Bible, and do NOT fully trust Christ for their salvation, which the Bible clearly states. The great hypocrisy is that they CLAIM to completely trust God. They are LIARS! HOW can they completely trust God? HOW can anyone claim to completely rest upon Jesus Christ for salvation . . . BUT . . . at the same time believe that a person's salvation is CONDITIONAL . . . upon what kind of life we live?

Does this make sense to you? They DENY Jesus! They DENY the Bible! This is so typical of the deception and lies of the devil. IF a person DENIES Eternal Security . . . they DENY God!

Those who refuse and reject Eternal Security, refuse and reject Almighty GOD! They have a completely different mind set towards salvation. They do NOT . . . they CANNOT have the blessed peace (John 14:27) and full assurance (Heb.10:22) which comes from resting on the Promises of God.

JESUS is our ONLY Hope of eternal life, eternal security! We must rest completely, solely on JESUS alone for our salvation.

Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; (KJV)

TRUE Christians can KNOW that we are saved (John 20:31; 1 John 5:13), because our salvation is NOT rooted in our merit or our works . . . but ONLY on the finished Work of Jesus Christ. Our salvation is based on God's divine love for UNDESERVING sinners, NEVER on our works or self-righteousness. To believe, to teach or to say that a believer is NOT eternally secure in Christ, is lowering the Christian faith to the level of the false Catholic or Muslim religions, which offer absolutely NO security to its followers. The Islam religion believes that you do your best, and hope to make it . . . like the Catholics! Isn't this the same garbage that is being taught by opponents of Eternal Security? With them, there is NO security in Christ.

This is absolute hypocrisy . . . for anyone to CLAIM to completely trust the Saviour for salvation . . . BUT . . . continue to hold on to the ridiculous self-righteous idea that we can mess things up if we backslide and walk into sin. My friend, to believe that is saying that our salvation depends on man which is NOT true. Salvation depends upon God. Salvation is of the LORD! (Jonah 2:9).
