             HIS
              SERVANTS' MINISTRY
            www.hisservants.org
            Welcome to our website
            WILL
            WE BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE???
            Accountability . . .
is to be held responsible fro your actions. We are accountable to
God fro what we do and say in our lives; how we act, what we think,
and what we do with our talents and abilities God has given us.
            We are accountable
              for many of our problems.
Judges 6:13 And Gideon said unto
him, Oh my Lord, if the Lord be with us, why then is all this befallen
us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of,
saying, Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt? but now the Lord
hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
[KJV] Gideon questioned God about the problems he and his nation
faced, and about God's obvious lack of help. But he didn't admit
the fact that he and the people had brought misery upon themselves
when they decided to disobey and neglect God. It is very
easy to overlook our own personal accountability, and blame our
problems on God or someone else. But, no matter who we try to blame,
this does not solve our problems. It will bring us no closer to
God, and it will guide us to the very edge of rebellion and serious
backsliding. Any time problems come, the FIRST place to look, is
within ourselves! Confess to God those sins that may have created
              the difficulty (1 John 1:9).
            We are accountable
              to Christ.
            Romans 14:10-12 But why dost
thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother?
for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. [11]
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow
to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. [12] So then every
one of us shall give account of himself to God. [KJV] Each
and every person is accountable to Christ, NOT to anyone else! The
church must be firm in its stand against activities that are explicitly
forbidden by Scripture: adultery, homosexuality, murder, theft,
etc., but it should not create additional (man-made) rules and regulations
and give those rules equal standing with God's Law. Many times Christians
base their moral judgments on opinions or personal dislikes, rather
than the Word of God. This displays weak faith on their part, for
they do not think God is powerful enough, or wise enough to guide
His children. When we stand before the Judgment Seat, we will not
be concerned about what our neighbor has done, just what we have
              done, or not done.
2 Cor. 5:10 For we must all appear
before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the
things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether
it be good or bad.[KJV] Each and every TRUE child of God receives
eternal life, for it is a FREE GIFT given by Him to believers in
His Son, on the basis of God's grace.
John 1:12-13 But as many as
received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even
to them that believe on his name: [13] Which were born, not of blood,
nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
              [KJV]
Ephes. 2:8-10 For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not
of works, lest any man should boast. [10] For we are his workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained
that we should walk in them. [KJV]
But . . . each and every person will still be judged by Christ
at the Judgment Seat. We shall stand before Christ, ALONE . . .
all by ourselves! This judgment will either give us rewards for
how we lived after we were saved OR we will lose rewards we could
have had! God's gracious gift of salvation in NO way frees us from
the requirement of faithful obedience. All Christians MUST give
account for how they lived.See: Judgment
              Seat.
            Matthew 16:27 For
              the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels;
and then he shall reward every man according to his works. [KJV] Christ Jesus has been given complete authority to judge ALL
              the Earth! Are you ready?
Philip. 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly
exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: [10]
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven,
and things in earth, and things under the earth; [11] And that every
tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of
God the Father. [KJV] There is NONE, other than Jesus, that
God exalts as highly as His precious Son! The Name of Jesus is known,
above every other name, even to the most remote corners of the Earth.
But, sad to say, not all people, in fact just a "few",
respect and reverence that Name! Most often, His Holy Name is degraded
by horrible blasphemy. BUT, this will not always be the case! Isaiah
prophesied about 2700 years ago EVERY knee would one day bow, and
EVERY tongue would confess Jesus as Lord! Isaiah 45:23
I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in
righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall
bow, every tongue shall swear. [KJV] THIS
SHALL HAPPEN! I want to be on the good side of Him
at the judgment, so I will gladly and humbly, bow to Him NOW, and
confess that He is Lord NOW.
If you wait for another day, it may be too late for you, for you
shall be held accountable if you reject Him. None of us know how
long we will be on this Earth.
Although His judgment is already working in our lives, there is
a final, future judgment when Christ returns. All born
again Christians shall face a judgment! Their
eternal destiny is secure, but Jesus will look at how we handled
gifts, opportunities and responsibilities in order to determine
              our heavenly rewards OR losses.
1 Cor. 3:10-15 According to the grace of God
which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the
foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take
heed how he buildeth thereupon. [11] For other foundation can no
man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. [12] Now if any
man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood,
hay, stubble; [13] Every man's work shall be made manifest: for
              the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire;
and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. [14]
If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall
receive a reward. [15] If any man's work shall be burned, he shall
suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
[KJV] Christ is the Foundation! If we build our lives on Him, we
will be mature, spiritually sensitive and doctrinally sound. OUR
WORK is how we build. Building with gold, silver
and precious stones is anything we do for the cause of Christ. Building
with wood, hay and straw is anything you do for self and the world.
When the judgment comes . . . and it shall, ALL those haystacks
will be tested by fire (His judgment) and burned up! The fire will
also gobble up the straw and wood too. The person himself shall
be saved, if only by the skin of his/her teeth, but ALL
their works will be gone. They shall suffer great loss! NO
reward! Only gold, silver and precious stones (things
done for Christ) will make it through the fire. We CANNOT work to
gain salvation, but these verses tell us we can work for our rewards
              in Heaven.
We absolutely shall be held accountable
for our every action and every word! We will NOT be able to hide
one little thing; everything will be brought out in the open (Mark
4:22; 1 Cor.4:5). Are you ready to stand before this awesome and
              almighty Judge?
            Will I Be
              Held Accountable??
When you receive Christ Jesus into your life as your
personal Saviour and Lord, you obtain the privileged GIFT of eternal
              life; BUT you immediately
obtain a tremendous responsibility! You have been entrusted with
the Message of the Gospel (Good News about Jesus), and you are responsible
for what you do with it in your life. At the Judgment Seat of Christ,
what we have done on this Earth for Christ will be carefully considered
before Almighty God and displayed before the rest of the world.
All those who have done much with what God has given them will be
greatly rewarded. All those who were slack in serving Him will lose
              rewards they could have had.
            The questions
we all must ask ourselves are:

              - Will what am I doing for Christ
and His Kingdom stand . . . or fall?

              - Am I doing all I can to tell people
about Jesus and what He can do for them?

If you are willingly and earnestly serving the cause of Christ,
              you shall be greatly rewarded!
            What Does
God's Word Have to Say On This Subject?
            The more we know, the
greater our responsibility. The Lord holds those
who have been given positions of spiritual leadership to a higher
accountability for what they do (Luke 12:48; James 3:1). The greater
your spiritual gift (or gifts), the more God will require of you.
The higher up you are, thet greater your responsibility.
            We are responsible for
              our own sins and mistakes.
We CANNOT pass blame onto someone else for our failings and foolish
choices (Jer.31:30). ALL people will be held personally
accountable for the sinin their own lives. Do you make excuses for
your sins? NO excuse will hold up before the Great Judge!
            We need to invest our
abilities and resourses in God's Kingdom. God ever so graciously has given each of His children certain
abilities, gifts, talents and resources to invest into the growth
of His Kingdom. It is our DUTY to use any and all these gifts or
abilities to edify the Body of Christ (Luke 19:11-26). We must use
our gifts and abilities to honor and glorify God, NOT for selfish
              reasons.
            The value of our work
              will be tested. On
Judgment Day, the quality of our faith and our work done for Jesus
will be tested and revealed and rewarded accordingly.
            What was our motives
for serving Jesus? This too shall be tested and
made known. Why did you serve Him? Was it because you love Him?
Or was it for selfish reasons?
