MODERN
BIBLE CORRUPTIONS
Any words
in red, bold
italics in the following articles
are Jesus’ words, in the KJV of the Bible, which I consider
to be the TRUE Bible. For those people who are familiar only
with the newer, easier to read bibles, please take caution.
These newer versions may be "easier to understand"
but, you most likely are "understanding" something
that may NOT true. This is the humble opinion of this servant
of the Lord.

The
KJV always speaks of Almighty God in a way that honors
and glorifies Him. See some changes the false Bibles make
that alter the Name of the Almighty in such a way that
tends to lead astray.
Portions
of verses that are underlined are omitted or drastically
altered in newer bible versions.
Exodus 6:3 And I appeared unto Abraham,
unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty,
but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them.
(KJV)
Jehovah is changed to
the Lord in NIV, NASB, NAU, NLT, TEV
Joshua 22:22 The Lord God of
gods, the Lord God of gods, he knoweth, and Israel
he shall know; if it be in rebellion, or if in transgression
against the Lord, (save us not this day,) (KJV)
The Lord God of gods is changed to “the
mighty one” in NIV, NASB, NAU, TEV, ASV
Psalm 8:5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned
him with glory and honour. (KJV)
A little lower than the angels is changed
to “a little lower than God” in NASB, NAU,
NLT, ASV. Other versions are distorted.
Daniel 3:25 He answered and said,
Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the
fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth
is like the Son of God. (KJV)
Daniel 3:25 "Look!" Nebuchadnezzar
shouted. "I see four men, unbound, walking around
in the fire. They aren't even hurt by the flames! And
the fourth looks like a divine being!" (NLT)
Daniel 3:25 "Then why do I see
four men walking around in the fire?" he asked. "They
are not tied up, and they show no sign of being hurt—and
the fourth one looks like an angel." (TEV)
Daniel 3:25 He answered and said, Lo,
I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire,
and they have no hurt; and the appearance of the fourth
is like a son of God. (Dar) God has only
ONE begotten Son.
The Son of God is changed to “a son of
the gods” in NIV, NASB, NAU, GW, ASV, YLT, NWT.
John 1:18 No man hath seen God at
any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the
bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. (KJV)
The only begotten Son is replaced with “God the one and only” in
NIV.
Begotten Son is replaced
with “begotten God” in NASB, NAU. Other versions
are also distorted.
John 4:42 And said unto the woman,
Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have
heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the
Christ, the Saviour of the world. (KJV)
The NIV, NWT changes the Christ to this/the
man.
The NASB, NAU changes the Christ to this One.
Other versions also distort the verse.
John 9:35 Jesus heard that they
had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto
him, Dost thou believe
on the Son of God? (KJV)
The Son of God is changed
to “the son of man” in NIV, NASB, NAU, NLT,
TEV, GW, NWT.
Matthew 1:25 And knew her not till
she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he
called his name Jesus. (KJV)
“Firstborn” is removed from
NIV, NASB, NAU, NLT, TEV, GW, ASV, NWT. This
allows for false doctrines that say Mary remained a virgin
forever and had no other children. “Firstborn”
proves that Mary had more children after Jesus was born.
Matthew 8:29 And, behold, they cried
out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus,
thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before
the time? (KJV)
“Jesus” is removed from NIV,

is removed from NIV about 38 times; removed about 59 times
from NASB.

there is none good but one, that is, God: but if
thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. (KJV)

“One who is good” in NIV, NASB, NAU, ASV,
Dar, NWT.
Matthew 28:20 Teaching
them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded
you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end
of the world. Amen. (KJV)
End of the world is replaced
with “end of the age” in NIV, NASB, NAU, NLT,
TEV, Dar, YTL. The devil does not want anyone to think
that the world will end.
Mark 10:21 Then Jesus beholding
him loved him, and said unto him, One
thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast,
and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in
heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow
me. (KJV)
“Take up the cross” is removed
in NIV, NASB, NAU, NLT, TEV, GW, ASV, NWT.

astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and
saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them
that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of
God! (KJV)
“For them that trust in riches”
is removed from NIV, NASB, NAU, NLT, TEV, GW. NWT.
Luke 2:33 And Joseph and
his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken
of him. (KJV)
Joseph is replaced with
“father” in NIV, NASB, NAU, TEV, GW, ASV,
Dar, and "its" father in NWT. This
places a lower value on Jesus, making Him appear to NOT
be the only begotten Son of God, but simply the son of
an earthly father. A baby Christian would probably think
this.
Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him,
saying, It is written,
That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every
word of God. (KJV)
“But by every word of God”

while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and
carried up into heaven. [52] And they worshipped
him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy: (KJV)
NIV removes verse 52 completely. NASB removes and carried up into heaven. And they worshipped him.
Acts 4:24 And when they heard that,
they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and
said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven,
and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: (KJV)
“Thou art God” is removed
from NIV, NASB, NAU, NLT, TEV, GW, ASV, NWT.
Acts 8:18 And when Simon saw that
through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, (KJV)
Holy Ghost changed to
Spirit or spirit in NIV, NASB, TEV, GW, Dar, NAU, NWT.
Acts 14:15 And saying, Sirs, why
do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with
you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these

The living God is changed to “a
living god” in NASB, NAU, ASV.

are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone,
graven by art and man's device. (KJV)

Being” in NIV. Godhead changed to “Divine
nature” in NASB, NAU, NWT. Distorted in NLT, TEV,
GW, Dar.

grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world,
and more abundantly to you-ward. (KJV)
2 Cor. 1:14 As also ye have acknowledged
us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as
ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus. (KJV)
NIV replaces rejoicing with boast. NASB
replaces rejoicing with proud. Other versions are distorted.

God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ,
and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; (KJV)

fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions,
rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so
do. (KJV)
“Godly edifying” is removed
from NIV, NASB, NAU, NLT, TEV, GW, ASV, Dar, YLT, NWT.
1 Tim. 3:16 And without controversy
great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest
in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world,
received up into glory. (KJV)
God is replaced with “He”
in NIV, NASB, NAU, NWT. Other versions are distorted.
2 Tim. 3:17 That the man of God
may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good
works. (KJV)
