MODERN BIBLE CORRUPTIONS

Any words in red, bold italics in the following articles are Jesus’ words, in the KJV of the Bible, which I consider to be the TRUE Bible. For those people who are familiar only with the newer, supposedly easier to read bibles, please use caution. These newer versions may SEEM to be "easier to understand" BUT, you most likely are "understanding" something that may NOT true. This is the humble opinion of this servant of the Lord.

SCRIPTURE IS TRUE

In Psalm 12:6-7, newer distorted versions change the word “them” referring to God’s Word, to “us” referring to people. Other distortions or omissions diminish the authority of Scripture and utterly discourage confidence in its divine inspiration and preservation. The devil is strong! BEWARE!

Portions of verses that are underlined are omitted or drastically altered in newer bible versions.

Psalm 12:6-7 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. [7] Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. (KJV)

NKJV = you shall preserve them from this generation forever; NIV = you will keep us safe and protect us from such people; NLT = you will protect the oppressed, preserving them forever from this lying generation; (distorted); TEV = The wicked are everywhere, and everyone praises what is evil. Keep us always safe, O Lord, and preserve us from such people (distorted); GW = You will keep each one safe from those people forever; NASB = Thou wilt preserve him from this generation forever (distorted); ASV = Thou wilt preserve them from this generation for ever; Dar = thou wilt preserve them from this generation for ever; YLT = Thou keepest us from this generation to the age (distorted); NAU = You will preserve him from this generation forever (distorted); Msg = God, keep us safe from their lies, From the wicked who stalk us with lies (distorted). NWT = You will preserve each one from this generation to time indefinite.

Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. (KJV)

NKJV = but by every word of God; NIV = omitted; NLT = omitted; TEV = omitted; GW = omitted; NASB = omitted; ASV = omitted; Dar = but by every word of God; YLT = but on every saying of God; NAU = omitted; Msg = omitted. CEV = omitted; NWT = omitted.

2 Cor. 2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. (KJV)

NKJV = peddling the word of God; NIV = peddle the word of God for profit; NLT = who preach just to make money; TEV = omitted; GW = selling an impure word of God; NASB = peddling the word of God; ASV = corrupting the word of God; Dar = omitted; YLT = adulterating the word of God; NAU = peddling the word of God; Msg = water it down. CEV = try to get rich from preaching God’s message; NWT = peddlers of the word of God.

Deut. 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. (KJV)

NKJV = You shall not add to the word . . . nor take anything away from it. NLT = Do not add to or subtract from these commands. TEV = Do not add anything . . . and do not take anything away. GW = Never add anything to what I command you, or take anything away from it. NASB = "You shall not add to the word . . . nor take away from it, ASV = Ye shall not add unto the word . . . neither shall ye diminish from it, Dar = Ye shall not add to the word . . . neither shall ye take from it, YLT = Ye do not add to the word . . . nor diminish from it, NAU = "You shall not add to the word . . . nor take away from it, Msg = Don't add a word . . . and don't remove a word from it. NWT = You must not add to the word . . . neither must you take away from it.

NKJV = Do not add to His words. NLT = Do not add to his words, TEV = If you claim that he said something that he never said, he will reprimand you and show that you are a liar." GW = Do not add to his words, NASB = Do not add to His words. ASV = Add thou not unto his words, Dar = Add thou not unto his words, YLT = Add not to His words, NAU = Do not add to His words; Msg = So don't second-guess him (distorted); NWT = add nothing to his words.

Rev. 22:18-19 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: [19] And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. (KJV)
